About me…

As a product manager, my fascination with observing the natural world has instilled in me a deep appreciation for systems thinking and balanced design. By watching and noting patterns and behaviors in nature, I have gained a unique perspective on the importance of balance in creating effective products that meet customers’ needs.

My Journey to Product Management: A Personal Account

My career path began in environmental education, where I served as the voice of nature for visitors to a local state aquarium and national parks. After funding for environmental education began to decline, I had the opportunity to meet an instructional designer who introduced me to the exciting world of instructional design. Drawing on my experiences as an ranger and my talent for learning new skills, I became one of the most dedicated instructional designers at Texas A&M Health Science Center.

Although I miss being a park ranger, I am honored to now work at Texas A&M University . During my career at the university, I made a successful transition from instructional design to academic technologies analyst and finally to product management, all driven by my passion for creating engaging and empathetic experiences. My ultimate goal is to create products that not only meet customers’ needs but also fuel organizational growth.

Until technology catches up with our dreams, I will continue to explore backcountry trails both real and virtual. See you online!
